The Team event (five players each) was conduct using the Adidas electronic hogus between - Australia, China, Chinese Taipei & Oceania

Australia defeated Chinese Taipei in controversial circumstances when Chinese Taipei withdrew after the second bout following Julie Dawson scoring two points with punches to the shield and subsequently defeating the Chinese player.

Australia went into the final against China which was too strong and Australia had top settle for the Silver medal.

Both China and Australia won a set of Adidas electronic hogus. These will be used at the TA High Performance Centre and will also be utilised during state seminars so that a broad range of players can trial the prototype units.
