This newly created position is responsible for the co ordination and
management of the affairs of the National Technical Board and respective
teams.
The position reports via the National Technical Director to the Board
of Management.
This position will be responsible for all arrangements for Australian
poomsae teams attending training camps and competitions domestically and
internationally as directed by the National Technical Board.
Applicants are advised that the selection criteria for the positions
will be based in part upon the requirements listed below. Accordingly
applicants must address the following:
- Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills and possession
of excellent interpersonal skills covering all age groups
- A high level of skill in planning, leading and organisation of a diverse
group of people
- A demonstrated ability to balance competing demands, prioritisation
of functions and the production of high quality work within set timeframes
All applicants must meet the following general criteria:
- Hold current Membership of Taekwondo Australia Inc. at the time of
this advertisement
- Demonstrated support of Taekwondo Australia Inc including 100% support
for the student registration scheme
- Be NCAS Level 1 or 2 accredited
- Understanding of Taekwondo Poomsae at an International competition
level
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as a member of a Team
- Applicants must have, or be eligible for, an Australian passport
Process
- A formal typed application is to be forwarded to reach the Secretary
of the Technical Board by no later than the closing date
- A resume and the applicant’s Taekwondo Australia Inc. membership
number must accompany all applications
- Upon receipt the applications will be referred to the Technical Board
for recommendation to the Board Of Management
- All applicants will be notified of the Board’s decision.
Funding
Funding for this positions is yet to be determined, however every endeavour
will be made to minimise the cost of airfares, meals and accommodation
expenses.
