The Australian Junior Team 2006 will contest the 6th World Junior Championships in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam in July 2006
Indicative travel dates are 19-31/07/2006.

The Team will be supported by Heads of Team, Manager JHPP, High Performance Program personnel and other Team staff including coaches, trainers, doctor and a chaperone.

Team Staffing will be determined in accordance with the Junior National Team Selection Policy.

Applications for the positions (3) of Team Coaches and Trainers are now invited to be lodged by 12 May 2006.

All applicants must meet the following general criteria:

• Hold current Membership of Taekwondo Australia Inc. at the time of this advertisement
• Demonstrated support of Taekwondo Australia Inc including 100% support for the student registration scheme
• Be NCAS Level 1 or 2 accredited
• Understanding of Sports Taekwondo at an International competition level
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work as a member of a Team
• Be available for a residential Team Camp to be conducted at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra ACT between 2-4 June, 2006

Process

Applications for these positions are to be made by completing the JNT-S Application and Personal Information sheets and enclosing any other information which may assist your application.

Staff may be selected to provide a blend of coaching experience on the Team (eg experienced as well as developing coaches/trainers).

Funding

Team funding for these positions is yet to be determined, however every endeavour will be made to minimise the cost of airfares, meals and accommodation expenses.
